The beginning of Kainoa’s Ocean Blog (Post #1)

  • Post author:
  • Post category:Kainoa

Hi guys!

This is my very first blog post. I’m N.H.BODIN and I’ve chosen the name of KAINOA as my pen name for my blog. Right off the bat, I need you to know that I’m very passionate about ocean conservation.

Why I want to share Kainoa’s Ocean blog online :

  • What would make the effort feel truly worthwhile to me:
    • Share my insights and stories with people around the world
    • Sharpen my message and thinking on ocean conservation
    • Inspire ocean conservation actions
    • Document my ocean conservation journey and stories
    • Contribute to building collective ocean conservation action (changing the system)
  • What are my fears or hesitations?
    • What if it takes too much time?
    • What if I’m not able to sustain it over time?
    • What if it’s insignificant (a drop in the ocean, not enough)?

This first blog is part of a 31-day experiment. I’ll try to blog a minimum of 5 sentences every day. On August 31, 2025, I’ll reassess. At the end of these 31 days, I’ll (Note: these questions have been generated using the AI Perplexity. Any text generated using AI will be in italics and stipulated):

  • Look back on what I shared.
    • How did it feel to create and “let go” of each post?
  • Ask myself:
    • Was this energizing, neutral, or draining?
    • Did I gain new clarity or confidence? Any surprises?
    • Did it help me connect more deeply to my mission, or clarify what matters to me?
  • Review: Did anyone respond in ways that felt meaningful or encouraging?

Constructive comments and kind words can be sent to noeliebodinOCEANgmail.com (replace OCEAN with the “at” symbol).

Off we go now! I think that’s enough for today!

Improving ocean conservation together, one salty drop at a time. 🙂
