Contact-form messages
Messages submitted through the contact form are stored in WordPress through Forminator so that I can read and manage them from the website dashboard.
I intend to keep contact-form submissions for 12 months after the last contact, unless I need to retain them for a longer period because of an ongoing enquiry, collaboration or legal obligation.
Cloudflare Turnstile
This website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated spam submissions.
Turnstile may process technical information such as the visitor’s IP address, browser information and other signals related to the request. Cloudflare explains that Turnstile uses these signals to help distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic.
YouTube videos
Some pages contain videos embedded from the KAINOA Ocean and Nature YouTube channel.
YouTube and Google may receive information when a visitor loads, views or interacts with an embedded video. Where possible, I will use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedding mode. This mode reduces the use of viewing activity for personalisation, but it does not mean that YouTube receives no information at all.
YouTube’s own privacy policy may also apply.
