KAINOA grew from my desire to create meaningful ways to reconnect with water, discover the living world and care for the ocean.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Films<\/strong>, stories<\/strong>, mermaiding <\/strong>and conservation <\/strong>open different passages into a world of water wonder. Through these experiences, I seek to awaken curiosity, nurture connection, deepen awareness, and encourage action to protect the ocean and the living world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experiences <\/strong>are not only something to be seen; they are meant to be felt in the body. Aquatic experiences engage us as a whole\u2014through sight, sound, movement, breath, emotion and immersion. They awaken the imagination and invite a deeper awareness of our place within the living world. In this way, the aquatic world becomes closer, more personal and part of our lived experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wonder <\/strong>begins with a whole-body experience: the sensation of water against the skin, the rhythm of the breath, the gentle rocking of the water, the shimmer of light beneath the surface and the quiet encounter with another living being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
